InterNews 2.0.3b1 Release Notes

July. 3, 1998

This is an interim release to allow use of InterNews with news servers having more than 32767 newsgroups.  This version will expire on 10/1/98. There should be a new version before then.

Changes

- Improved memory handing at quit time.
- Asks for newshost name when makign a new subscription file.
- Improved behavior if run out of memory when getting new newsgroup list.
- Uses the first 32K newsgroups found instead of failing when it encounters that many.
- Fixed a memory leak in the newsgroup exclusion list.
- Increased the default memory allocation to handle 32K groups.
- A few small bugs fixed.
