The tarball used here:

is repackaged from the original:
WSoundServer-0.4.0.tar.gz

The desktop, menu and XPM files are from the wsoundserver ebuild.
The diff used is from debian:
wsoundserver_0.4.0-19.diff

The default sounds are from who-knows-where -just a few sounds
I could get to work as a demonstration.
