This is the development branch of the GNU Image Manipulation Program.
Here's where the development takes place on the road to the next stable 
release.

What you find here are development snapshots full of bugs targetted at
developers and curious users. Don't use them for your daily work. If
you are looking for the stable version, get GIMP-1.2.x.

Please install GTK+-2.0 before configuring the GIMP for compilation.
