a 32-bit file transfer and terminal emulation package for Windows 95 and
Windows NT. It features support for sliding windows and long packets, error
recovery, and the ability to initiate file transfers automatically. It also
works with the X, Y, and Z modem file transfer protocols, the Microsoft

Kermit includes terminal emulation for VT, ANSI and TTY terminals. It is
preloaded with dial-up connections to such online services and and public data
