New Issue This option is used whenever we have to enter a new issue.
Open Vs Closed This metric is used to view the number of open issues w.r.t number of the closed issues. A graph is used to emphasize the contrast.
Open Vs Fixed This metric is used to view the number of open issues w.r.t number of the fixed issues. A graph is used to emphasize the contrast. Note: Fixed issues are those issues that are claimed to be solved by the software programmer. They havent been closed.
Progress Helps one view a the number of open, fixed, closed issues as of then. Serves as a status indicator
Sorting: by Status Issues cycle through three steps: Open, Fixed, Closed. Sorting by status makes sure that the issues you see are ordered by the state they are in, giving importance to all open issues, then fixed issues, and lastly the closed issues.
Sorting: by Date Allows one to view the issues in order bythe date they were logged
Sorting: by Prioirity Allows one to view the issues by the priority. Prioirities range from A1-A2, B1-B2, C1-C2 in decreasing order of importance
Sorting: by Module An issue is associated with a module (most of the times). This option facilitates viewing the issues in order by the module they are associated with.
Time Curve This option is used to project the number of open, fixed issues, closed issues as a function of time. A grphical plot depicting the number of issues at each point of time gives a good overall view of the issue handling in the development group.
TO-DO List An ordering of issues for an individual in an organization. A TO-DO list shows past closed issues, open issues that may require his/her attention. They are usually unique to an organization.
