File - Copy To

Copy To .. The File menu Copy To .. option
directs the file manager to copy selected files
and/or directories to a target directory. This
option can also be used to create a copy of a file
or directory with a new name in the current
directory. The command opens a dialog box. The
dialog box permits the user to specify the name of
the directory where the file(s) is to be copied.
The user may select a file or set of files
(directories) to use with the Copy To ..option.
Besides copying a file to a new directory, Copy To
.. can create a file with a new name in the source
directory. By specifying the whole path in the
output field, the file can be copied to a new
directory with a new name. Specifying only a file
name in the output field, creates a file with a
new name in the current directory. Files can be
added to the input field separated by spaces.
Note that the file manager supports drag and drop
to copy files and directories to other open
instances of the file manager or the program
manager. In the instance of the copy command hold
the control key depressed while clicking and
dragging with the mouse. If the control key is
not depressed, the drag and drop will execute a
          move. Alt+Shift+(c) or Meta+(f), (c) will open
the Copy To .. dialog box.
