File - Print

Print .. -- The File Menu Print .. option (or the
Print Tool) displays a dialog box used to send
selected files to a specific printer. The Print
.. dialog box contains several dialog fields
helpful in using printers. The File input field
displays selected files. The user can type
additional files into this field, separated by
spaces. The file input field supports UNIX wild
card file descriptions. The Print .. dialog box
includes a title field. This field allows the
user to specify a banner (title) to go onto the
header sheet. The Copies field allows the user to
specify multiple copies. The dialog box includes
a scrollable list of available printers. The user
can either select one of the printers in the list
or type the printer name directly. The Print Tool
includes a toggle that will enable UNIX to notify
the user when the print job is complete - Send
Mail When Done. The queue window shows the status
of the print queue. There are three control
buttons for the Print .. dialog box. The first
button, Print, sends the specified files to the
printer. The second button, Show Queue, shows
the status of all the printer queues. The last
button - cancel, closes the dialog box. Selecting
this button before picking the Print button will
close the dialog box without printing anything.
          Alt+Shift+(p) or Meta+(f), (p) will open the
          Print .. dialog box.
