Terminal Window

The Terminal Window -- The lower window of the
file manager is the familiar UNIX terminal
emulator window. The interface allows for typing
conventional UNIX commands for execution. In
addition to allowing the user to type commands
directly, the file manager can send its commands
to the terminal for execution. In this way new
users can see the commands as the file manager
performs common tasks. Once executed in the
terminal, the user can recall and edit these
          commands within the terminal.
