This is pretty simple. I doubt you will have to touch the Makefile. Just do:

$ make
$ su -
<password>
# <cd back to here>
# make install

Version 0.94a was built and tested on RedHat 8.0 with all applicable (including kernel) updates,
on a system with an Athlon XP 2400+ and DDR memory.

I expect it to be QUITE portable within linux distros. If you use it on something other than
RedHat, or on an older (or newer, by the time you read this) version of it, then please
send me an email to help me stay apprised, and so that I can add a list of known working
platforms.

Important note: This program assumes that there is a symbolic link at /dev/cdrom pointing to
your real cdrom interface (i.e. /dev/hdb). If it is not there, use --drive /dev/path to point
to your actual cdrom path.

Hope you find it useful.
